OK, so this year I found out that my husband's side of the family is not only Scottish & Welsh, but Irish as well! What a mutt!! :) BTW, he's still in denial, so you may not want to make mention of this to him...
Anyway, I decided to try my hand at this St. Patrick's Day food thing. I've decided to make Corned Beef, Cabbage, fixins & Irish Soda Bread. I'm making the Corned Beef in the Crock Pot, as it seems like the favorite among those who cook it. I've got the cabbage on the stove, and I'll make the soda bread later. I hope our house doesn't smell like a gaseous emission! What is up with Irish food -- it seems rather gassy to me!
So, we're having group tonight, and they're always such good sports about trying stuff that I make... I should have a good bunch of honest opinions from them! We'll see.....

Considering your household and the influence that gaseous food has on them...I am glad I live very far away, for the odor that shall be caused due to your corned beef and cabbage will be damaging to future use of ones' sense of smell. Now I have commented on your blog dear sis.
